The estate of a passionate collector
A lifetime of seeking, finding and preserving
He never saw a rusted engine as scrap metal. To him, it was a story. Evidence of ingenuity, craftsmanship and an era when machines were built by hand to last for generations. Every piece in this collection was found with knowledge and care, on farmyards, at salvage yards, at swap meets, and kept in excellent condition.
The collection spans decades of passion: from the Dutch C.L. Concord/Van Rossum of Papendrecht to the British J.A.P. of London, from the Swedish Penta of Gothenburg to the Swiss Birchmeier. Every brand carries its own history and every piece holds its own place in Europe's industrial heritage.
Following his passing, his family wishes this collection to find its way to people who share the same passion. Not into a warehouse, but into a workshop, a museum, or the hands of a collector who truly understands what they are holding. Everything is well preserved and in beautiful condition.
